Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DevFox handles data while providing browser-based developer tools and related editorial content.
Browser-based processing
Most formatters, validators, encoders, decoders, and converters run in your browser. For those tools, the pasted input is processed locally in the page runtime and does not need to be uploaded to DevFox servers.
Server-backed tools
Some tools require server access to perform network checks, inspect URLs, fetch public metadata, or validate remote resources. For those tools, the URL, hostname, or request details needed for the check may be sent to DevFox infrastructure.
Analytics, cookies, and ads
DevFox may use privacy-conscious analytics, cookies for preferences such as consent and interface state, and advertising services. Cookies are used to remember choices and understand aggregate site usage.
Sensitive data
Do not paste production secrets, private keys, regulated data, or customer records into any online tool unless your organization permits it. For highly sensitive data, prefer local command-line tools.
Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact form.
